4/8  Ohhh you guys!  The weather is getting better!!! Yayyyy!

3/17 – Happy St. Patricks Day Everyone!!!  As I anticipate the new season I find myself getting a little bit excited. I know I have so much to do to get ready but I enjoy the process!  I love my job!

2/25 – Our winter cabin has been busy this year! More snow today, driving up from Massachusetts it was really pretty  lacing the trees.  Great skiing and snowboarding this weekend I suspect. Don’t forget we can get discounted lift tickets for Cannon Mountain. This is our first winter to offer that, next year I expect to get discounted lift tickets for Loon Mountain as well.

2/3 – Yay!!! The sun is shining again at the Maple Lodge Cabins!!!  Finally you can see the mountains again! The snow is sooo pretty. It looks like it has little diamonds in it sparkling from the sun!  Our Presidential cabin is open in the winter and you can see the pond and the mountains this time of year.

1/21/11 –  SNOW SNOW & MORE SNOW!!! Its sooo beautiful!  Bill and I went sledding the other night.  Too funny, laughed ourselves silly!  It had been a long time.  Too long really.  Had fun!

12/30 –  Well hope everyone had a great Christmas!  Happy New Year!  See you in 2011!

11/19  - It snowed a little today!  Getting excited about a fun winter!  Bill got some newer skis and I finally got the warm updated long johns whatever they are called these days! I’ve been wanting them for a long time!  Maybe I’ll try skiing or something now. I don’t really know how to, but everyone else seems to love it.  I always end up in the Lodge with a hot drink.  For some reason I’m never the cute snow bunny in the cute  little outfit swooshing down the mountain. I’m the one in mismatched jacket and jeans sopping wet trying to avoid running into trees hahaha!!!  I think this year I should spring for lessons.

Maple Lodge is slow this time of year, so I keep busy catching up on paperwork and a million other things! We have still been renting out the Presidential, but just 1 cabin open this time of year gives me a chance to take a breath.  Leaves are pretty much all down now, so you can really see the Mountains all around now!  Pretty cool!

10/16 –  Its been over a month since my last post??? I guess we’ve just been so busy I haven’t thought to sit down and write anything. Now today is our last day of the season and from now til May 15th we will Only be renting out the Presidential Cabin for the winter months. Its been a great season, people from All Over The World stopped here!  At our little Maple Lodge Cabins.

So now what?  We close up the little cabins and  take a breather.  Then we prepare for our winter guests.  Its so different up here in the winter time. Hard to explain, cozy in a different way I guess, plus you can see the pond and mountains through the trees! Very pretty.  OOHHH  Cecillia is trying to walk on the keyboard!  Probably just wants a you know what…  C O O K I E ……I can’t say it, I have to spell it  out so that she doesn’t hear.

9/12 –  Wow 9 years since September 11th. Can you believe it???

Stocked up on more wood for the cabin fireplaces, alot of stacking… nights are cooling down and the smell of fire wood in the air. I love it!!! Fall is always my favorite time of year. The Pool is heated to 80 degrees. Very nice. Not sure what day we will close the pool. Maybe this coming weekend. Had a another great Maple Lodge community campfire roaring  last night. I went to bed early though, pretty wiped out from stacking  that fire wood.

9/2/10  - Well we had a great summer!  Very busy, nice weather happy guests. Labor Day is packed of course. Went to the Whales Tale Water Park in Linclon NH on Monday.  Had a blast!  Also got to enjoy the pool a few times this week too!  The water temperature was 80 + degrees and perfect!!!

8/19/10 – Got my tattoo!!! Its so cute. A little Bonnie Flower on my ankle!  Thanks Tim!!!

8/17/10 – Okay so I’m going to get a tattoo!!! I’m a little nervous, but very excited too!!! Bill seems cool with it, so I’m going for it!  Just something small and simple I think on my ankle. I’ve always wanted to get one.   I’ll post a photo.

Anyway Frank was here early this morning several people got a chance to see him!  He is the  young bear in the photos. A few years old we think. So cute. I should have more photos sent to me soon.

8/3/10 – Ahhh is it really August already? So busy it seems like a Saturday today. Everyone is having a great time! Ate at Tony’s Italian Grill last night and was pretty impressed with the food! So was everyone in the party.  Ate at Italian Farmhouse the other night in Plymouth – that was great too. Going to check out Govoni’s Italian next…. okay is it that obvious…. we love Italian!!!

7/22/10 – Yeah okay that didn’t happen, yesterday as soon as I finished cleaning I put on my swim suit & the rain came from nowhere!  And its still raining!!! Supposed to clear up this afternoon!  (after I finish cleaning cabins all day …in the rain! ) hahaha!  Good news is I don’t need to water the flowers

7/21/10 – Only a few cabins to clean today, maybe I can get to the pool!!!  Looks like another great summer day!!!

7/14 – WOW is the summer flying by or what????  We had a few bear sightings in the last few weeks!!!  This time a  big bear came by, how funny to see Bill chase him off!!! I think Bill deserves Employee of the Month~!!! Ok its official.  Congratulations to Bill – Employee of the Month!!!

6/15 – Motorcycle week is in full swing… Lots of bikes and activity up here. Very exciting…A small black bear came down to our property yesterday and again today… I didn’t see it, but a few others did. Raided the trash cans and headed down to the camp ground behind us. Guess he got a nice steak out of a cooler down there!

6/8 – Wheeewww… off to a busy start this season. Hosted a wedding over the weekend. It was beautiful!  I will post some photos when I get a spare moment! Now gearing up for a busy Bike Week. Lots of motorcycles!!! Lots of fun!!!

5/25 – I can’t believe this weekend is Memorial Day already!  Don’t forget we have the Geocache this weekend!  Sounds like a really good time! Can’t wait!

5/19 – Wow! Went on the Cog Railway last night! That was so cool!  Driving up I saw a moose just inside the trees. On the way home I saw a HUGE moose walking along the side of the road. It was Awesome Plus saw 2 gorgeous foxes that evening up near the railway. Big fluffy tails!  Just remember drive careful around here!

5/12 – Everything is so lush green!  Open early this year.  Have a few cabins up and running already!

4/28 – Wow can’t believe its almost May!!!  Where does the time go?

4/19 – Looking so cute up here !!! Had a cozy little snow storm this past weekend, but its melted already!

Grass is so green and tress are starting to bloom!  Getting excited for the upcoming season!

2/24 – Hi Everyone, thank you for joining us!  Guess what?  Its Snowing!!!

It is so beautiful and we are so happy to see it!  Come and play!
